A WNBA player Jennifer Lacy lives in Queens, New York. Starting her professional career in 2006, she has been still pursuing her career. She is a Free Agent and plays in the forward position of the team. Her father Lee Lacy is an ex-baseball player who played MLB in the defensive position for 16 seasons with teams like Atlanta Braves, Baltimore Orioles, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Pittsburg Pirates from 1972 to 1987.

At the time of being born in March 21, 1983, she was named as Jennifer by her parents and got the surname from her father. Jennifer Lee Lacy was born in Agoura, California. She has got two brothers. After graduation from Agoura Hills High School in 2002, she got herself admitted in Pepperdine University in California.
Although she has been playing basketball skillfully from her high school level, she started playing the game professionally at the Women’s Basketball Team of Pepperdine. At the same time she was selected by the universities of Washington, California, UC Santa Barbara, and Arizona for playing in their women’s basketball team. In 2006, she joined WNBA after completion of college education as an undrafted free agent.

From the WCC (West Coast Conference), she was the first player to mark the WNBA schedule.
As a senior, she led WCC in scoring.
As a senior, she was selected All-WCC First Team.

Lacy participated in 33 games including 3 starts for Mercury. At her beginning year, she scored 4.9 points and 3.1 rebounds on an average game. She was the first player in WCC to get selected for a WNBA squad. In the area of field goal percentage, she was a leading figure as a rookie. She set a record for Mercury by scoring 7 field-goals without any miss. She made 16 points (highest in the season) against Charlote on the August 03 match.
In this season also, she participated for the Phoenix Mercury in 20 games. On an average in each 4.7 minutes, she scored 1.8 points and 1.0 rebounds in each game. From the field, she made 41.4 shots. Jennifer won the WNBA Championship Award.
Lacy signed agreement with Atlanta Dream where she was named as Captain of the team and she was one of only four players in the team’s history who could start more than 20 games.
